We spent this last Thanksgiving in Utah with Matt’s family. It was a much needed long break! :) Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I was able to give two of my sisters-in-law a little photography lesson. I didn’t go into the technical things about the camera or editing, but we talked about composition, light, and focus.
After teaching a little, we went out into the front and back yard and they just practiced! I followed them around to help and answer questions. They did an awesome job!!
Here is a quick shot we took of their front yard. Isn’t it an awesome view? You can see Utah Lake from their front yard.
This is a photo I took before I gave Lindsey the camera :)

And this is me!
Here are some of my favorite shots that they took. Didn’t they take awesome photos?! I was so impressed with them! They composed every shot well. All of their photos are interesting and in focus.
Here are some of Lindsey’s:
Here are a few of Ellie’s:
My two favorites are Lindsey’s flower/sunset photo and Ellie’s photo of the mountains. I had so much fun doing this with Lindsey and Ellie! I was happy that they were willing to play with me.
Later that night, there was a beautiful sunset…so of course I had to take a quick pic. :)
