These two are my good friends from college. Juliette and Scott :) I always have a lot of fun with them…and taking family photos of them is no exception! Juliette was my roommate in college. I met them when they were dating, watched them get engaged and went to the wedding. Needless to say, I love them a lot!
We did some fall family photos. I love doing couples photography. Especially with the Idaho fall colors. So beautiful! We started at Beaver Dick in Rexburg, Idaho and then moved to Warm Slough, near Henry’s Fork. Idaho really is so wonderful. There are tons of rivers and trees. It is easy to find a fabulous location for taking family photos. I tried to do plenty of different spots and poses with Juliette and Scott. I also got a few candid photos :) I’m glad because I love to capture people’s personalities in photos too. My favorite photos are not when I have posed someone but when I was able to catch them in the moment and being themselves.
I did not use any off camera lights…just natural light. For most of the shots I was using my 50mm lens. I love the 50mm! It gives me a wide enough aperture to let it a lot of light and get a nice bokeh but also it is great for portraits.
Enjoy! Don’t forget to leave a comment! :)
